Connector for AI assistants · Model Context Protocol

Ryan

Bring Ryan, your MetaDay AI recruiter, into the AI assistant you already use. Ryan reads your hiring picture and prepares actions you approve inside your assistant. Nothing is sent or changed until you confirm it.

Works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP assistants. Setup guide: agents.metaday.ai

What it does

Ryan connects your AI assistant to your MetaDay account so you can, in a normal conversation, catch up on your pipeline and hand Ryan the busywork (writing an email, booking a call, setting up an interview), with a clear approval step before anything actually happens.

The connector exposes three tools:

Daily briefing

Reads only

get_daily_briefing: your morning picture as structured data: open roles, outreach numbers, pipeline, today's schedule, active missions and LinkedIn engagement. Nothing is changed.

Chat with Ryan

ReadsPrepares

ryan_chat: ask Ryan anything about your pipeline, jobs, candidates or schedule, or ask it to do something. When you ask for an action, Ryan returns a proposal with the full details (recipient, message, time) for you to review. It never sends or changes anything from this tool.

Confirm & run

Acts on your approval

ryan_confirm: runs a specific action Ryan proposed, and only after you approve it in your assistant. Each approval runs one action, once.

Nothing happens without your approval

Ryan proposes; you decide. Every action (an email, a meeting, a calendar event, an AI call) is shown to you in your assistant with its real details first. It runs only when you confirm that specific action. Ryan can prepare, but it can never send or change anything on its own.

The actions Ryan can prepare: send an email, book / reschedule / cancel a meeting, add a calendar event, invite a candidate to an AI intro call (they start it themselves; Ryan never places the call), and send a WhatsApp follow-up.

Your assistant asks you before each confirmation. Keep that approval prompt enabled so every action stays a deliberate choice.

Connecting

  1. Add the connector in your assistant. Add Ryan (server address https://mcp.metaday.ai/mcp) and choose Connect.
  2. Sign in to MetaDay. A MetaDay page opens where you approve the connection and sign in with your existing MetaDay account.
  3. Approve. You'll see exactly what the connector may do: read your work, and prepare actions you approve. Approve to finish.
  4. Use Ryan in your assistant. Ask for your daily briefing, or hand Ryan a task and approve it when it proposes the details.

You'll need a MetaDay account. Don't have one? Visit metaday.ai.

Security & privacy

A separate session, not your login

Connecting creates a dedicated, revocable MetaDay session for the connector. Your everyday MetaDay browser login is never handed over.

Hardened against takeover

Beyond reading your work and preparing the actions above, the connector session cannot change your sign-in identity (password, two-factor settings, email or phone), cannot link or unlink a sign-in method, and cannot delete your account. It otherwise carries your normal MetaDay permissions for its lifetime (up to 7 days).

Encrypted & short-lived

That session is stored encrypted on our EU connector server and lasts up to 7 days, or until you disconnect, whichever comes first.

Disconnect any time

Removing the connector in your assistant ends that session server-side. It never affects your normal MetaDay login.

Ryan's answers and proposals can include details about your candidates and contacts (names, contact details, notes, message drafts), returned into your assistant conversation. What you ask Ryan and what it returns is processed by your AI assistant under its provider's terms (for Claude, Anthropic's terms). MetaDay's handling of your data is covered by our privacy policy.
